The Windjammer

I'm a new owner. This is my second year here. Everything is always clean. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and respondes quickly. I love it here. When I was looking, I had a few musts. It had to be on the ocean, two bedrooms and it had to have a pool. This checked all the boxes. The accommodations could use some updating. There are a lot of stairs and it would be nice to have a place to store beach chairs etc. On the lower lever. Perhaps Under the condo. I am thrilled to say although the condos aren't ocean front, I can see the ocean from my upper balcony. I don't have to get into my can or cross the road to get to the beach. At the Windjammer, the only thing between me at the beach is the stairs and the sand dune. Be prepared to climb stairs. But for me it's so worth it.

clean condo has everything you could need. Functional. Everything is extremely out dated and well worn. Wonderful access to the beach, veiw of the beach from our balcony is nice wish the window in our room had propped curtains to avoid neighbors across the way sewing directly into our room. The pool is great, my kid loves it. Hot tub looks old and in need of an update but does the job. Great location to access everything fun nags head has to offer. Be sure to hit the Christmas shop on roanoke island, the lost colony play, and jimmys buffet in kill devil hills!

Great location for Beach and fun in the sun! Units in total need of updates! Air conditioning has mold! New Management and Cleaning service have improved. Need a better exterminator.

As owners, we certainly have seen better service. The office staff were great! Maintenance was great, on things when we had concerns. However, the overall cleanliness the past couple of years leaves a lot to be desired. I was told there are checks and balances where the rooms are followed by an inspection after cleaning. I am 100 percent. This is not happening. I am so embarrassed when we have visitors who rent or stay in our unit or other units who pay GOOD money for a week at the beach and get second-hand cleanliness. Please, please make sure you push to do a better job of follow-through for everyone's sake. The location and what we get for a week and beach access one can not beat it. We love it here. Let's do a better job at showing ourselves off!!

We stayed here for a week. Has beautiful views of the beach and is literally a few steps away from the beach. Could be cleaner, but, similar.to the other places we've stayed before. We will stay here again for sure.

The Windjammer not a top-of-the line resort. But you get a nice, clean suite with two bathrooms, two large bedrooms, flatscreen TVs, etc., and a few yards' walk from a very nice beach. there is also much to see in the area, including lighthouses, Kitty Hawk, etc. Someone reported that the "inside and outside of the facility are in disrepair." I don't know when he or she last visited, but the pool area has been completely rebuilt now, and is very nice. Also, if anything in the suites needs repair, the person needs only report it to management. For us it has been a very good value.

Love it! Beautiful view of the ocean from the balconies. Cute little condos with a lot of storage. It is a little tiny bit run down as it is an older place, but it is also extremely affordable compared to most in the area. Off season timeshares cost under $1000 per week to buy, and commonly far under that. Yearly maintenance fee for each week as of 2018 is $505.

great location right on the beach close to shopping and dining. Everything you need is right here. The picture of the houses is not the windjammer those are down the street. The windjammer is an older timeshare condo setup. The kitchens and bathrooms are outdated but it's the beach. You have everything you need and the staff is great. I asked for a tv for the other bedroom for my son and they happily gave it to me. You couldn't get a better location for the price.
